It's interesting to see how she deals with trying to do what has to be without letting it change who she is. She tries to avoid it as much as possible but the whispers won't leave her alone.

The story is from Anna's POV and while I love her, my heart belongs to Kai. The idea that the Nephilim can't really have relationships with each other also gives the idea of forbidden relationships a whole new meaning. The feeling of being slaves to their sin and their father really causes this one to have a different feel. Their children are forced to "work" in their sin. Some of my most favorite are in this category.
That whole world has always interested me. I love the spin on old lore about Gods and Nephilim. So, while I loved the story and what was up, I really devoured this book once Kaidan was around. Um.well! Kaidan wasn't around as much at the beginning and you all know how I feel about the guys!. I may have struggled a little bit with the beginning of this book.
